From multi-awarding-winning director Orire Nwani Moji comes the story of Moji, a mother who has lost her son Yemi in a tragic accident years ago. The story opens showing a mother still grieving the loss of her son but trying her best to continue with daily life. One night, her estranged sister Mosunmola, appears at her doorstep seeking forgiveness for her past mistakes. Mojis’ anger and pain resurface as the two sisters revisit their past. Mosun pleads for forgiveness and urges Moji to forgive herself as well. Through this process Moji begins to consider the possibility of healing and moving forward. However, a shocking phone call reveals new information that challenges Moji’s sense of peace and leaves her shattered once again. This film explores the universal themes of forgiveness, grief, and the complexity of familial relationships, leaving audiences with a profound reflection on the human capacity to heal and find closure.

The Director Allamine kadar Kora visits his mother’s village on the edge of the Chadian desert where there has been a drought. The male village elders and religious figures believe that the source of this calamity is caused by all the unmarried women in the village. The men convene and decide to remedy the situation by ressurecting Amchilini, a long disused custom requiring unmarried women to publicly choose a husband from a selection of candidates. We see the the women revolt, questioning authority, and expressing distaste of what they see as an attack on their dignity. The seemingly tranquil fabric of the community is changed by this debate between the generaions about the tention existing between genders with regards to autonomy, eqaul rights and freedom to choose.
